Hannah has been so funny lately. Well, she is fun most of the time. She just has a wonderful, sweet personality.
A few nights ago, Nicole was out with Jeremy and Nate was already in bed. I kept Hannah up intentionally so we could eat ice cream together and chat for a few minutes. She loved every moment of it. I asked her all sorts of random questions. My favorite part of the conversation was this.
Me: Hannah, do you like being 4 years old?
Hannah: (quietly shook her head up and down while giving me a sweet "Hannah face".
Me: Is it harder to be 4 than it was to be 3?
Hannah : Oh yeah mommy...a lot harder.
Me: Really? What is so hard about it?
Hannah: Mommy, it 's hard because it feel like I'm 18!
hehehe...such a cutie!
This was something I overheard the girls talking about while playing the other day.
Nicole: Hannah, I have an idea. Let's play pretend. I'll be a dog in a pet store, and you come and buy me.
Hannah: OK
Nicole: Just remember...I'm a coloring dog and I like to stay in my cage and color.
...a few minutes later...
Hannah: awe, what a cute doggie.
Nicole (in her best doggie voice): I'm a coloring dog.
Hannah: well, you are really cute. My husband doesn't want a dog, but I really do, so I'm gonna get a doggie.
Hannah has been really good for my self esteem lately. She is constantly telling me that I am "the best mommy in the whole world". I'm also the best at several other things. Here's what she says...
Mommy, you are the best whistler in the whole world.
Mommy, you are the best cooker in the whole world.
Mommy, you are the best nail polish painter in the whole world.
Love that girl!
