Frightful

Inspired by the 1960s movie "My Side of the Mountain", Nicole took an early morning opportunity to catch a bird.

She says it is a morning dove.

It was stuck on our lanai (well, sort of.  Right now our lanai is half tore down, but for some reason, the bird couldn't figure out how to go around the screen that was still up).

She fed it bird food, and a baby lizard.

I don't have pictures, but she also made a little home for the bird out of a box.  He stayed in it for quite a while.

This was a dream morning to my little girl.
