Jeepin

Today we took the kids jeepin for the first time in our jeep.  Our buddy, "Crazy Dan" (but he doesn't like to be called that anymore, so I'll just call him Dan from now on) went with us in his truck.  The kids all seemed to enjoy it.  There was a lot more water than any of us expected. 

Hannah and Nate took a ride in the jeep for the first half.

We were at our limit in the water.  We couldn't believe Dan's truck could fit through parts of the trail...I think he knocked a few trees over.

I do not like riding through water.  I love mud and sand, but going through long stretches of water is scary.

At one point, Dan got out to see if the water was too deep (it was).  We had to turn around.

Then Hannah got in the truck with Dan and Nicole rode in the jeep. 

 As we were heading out, Dan's tire went flat.

Once again....Jeeps prevail and Trucks Fail :-)

When we were done...we ate ice cream while waiting for the tire to be fixed.
