At least we have amazing sunsets!
Apparently we have a new tradition that I would like to see go away! Someone has to break an arm when we move. Just a few days after moving in, the kids and I were taking a walk (Nate was taking a run), fell, and buckle fractured his right arm. Thankfully, no surgery, just a three week cast.
We had a quick trip back to Tampa to clean our house and throw a few Norwex parties...oh- and of course we scheduled it on a day we could attend Crystal Springs Preserve Science class
Oh- Sweet, sweet friends. I miss this cul de sac. It was the perfect place for the children.
It was so nice to fall back into a school routine, sort of.
This was our first day at our new CC. Thankful we had lots of friends there already, and have already made some wonderful, sweet new ones!
I still love Classical Conversations. We've had some bumpy roads together, but it has challenge and grown me more than anything else in my life. This is a board displaying what all the different levels of CC are learning that particular week. Very cool to see how it all ties together!
Learning Chemistry, Latin, and drawing on the back lanai. The lake is very peaceful.
We have decided to explore our new town the way we did Tampa. This is a beautiful new walkway that offers 2 miles of paved trails and some scenic views.
Nate's going to hate this picture in a few years. They never kissed, but for some reason, Nicole likes to pose like this ;)
Ahhhh...yes...this has quickly become a fun past time for our family. The kids love to fish. I love the view.
Ain't no broken arm gonna stop him!
Seriously, this is what our sunsets can be like. So purdy....but it doesn't even match that little cutie casting out the line.
Thankfully, Jeremy's new business has lots of work. Lots and lots and lots of work. Truly, we are thankful ;) However, days can be long, and sometimes the nights are longer for all of us. However, he's an amazing husband and father who makes the most with what he's got. This was a fun everglades airboat adventure with the family. First time for the kiddos. Hannah was most impressed by the Pelican
Don't stick your fingers in the fence. Just sayin'.
Yep- her dream came true! She got to hold an alligator
And so did brave little Hannah!
She even decided to kiss it!
This right here is a classic Nicole picture. One of my top 10 favorites.
While out in the 'glades, we swung by to see the smalled US post office. It was Sunday, so it wasn't open.
We discovered a hidden gem...a Military Museum inside our small local airport (that has charter and private planes zooming in and out all day). This place was so cool!
We cleaned up the canoe, and it's already been on hours of adventures. Just a little lopsided I guess.
January ended with the cast coming off.
